TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Sofia office (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Design characters, environments, and UI elements including symbols and logos.
  • Create Spine-based animations for characters, objects, and visual effects.
  • Optimize art assets for HTML5 and mobile delivery using tools like Texture Packer.
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure visual consistency and quality.
  • Mentor junior artists and share expertise to elevate team output.
  • Produce promotional assets and motion graphics for game marketing.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in 2D game art with a strong portfolio.
  • Mastery of Adobe Photoshop and proficiency in After Effects and Illustrator.
  • Deep knowledge of asset optimization for online games (Webp, compression formats).
  • Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience with game development pipelines and production deadlines.
  • Must be able to work from the Sofia office.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of animation principles and rigging.
  • Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Familiarity with 3D tools and workflows.
  • Background in casino gaming or interactive entertainment.
  • Experience with AI-powered art tools like Adobe Firefly or Layer.ai.
