What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy backend services and APIs for AI products like Create, Stylize, and Studio.
• Implement event-driven architecture using Kafka, SQS, and DynamoDB for scalable data processing.
• Optimize and manage video/audio pipelines using FFMPEG and streaming protocols such as HLS and MP-DASH.
• Scale cloud-based infrastructure and deploy foundation models within a Kubernetes/AWS environment.
• Write stable, performant, and async Python code to support high-traffic production systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Python or Golang.
• Strong expertise in building REST APIs with FastAPI and Pydantic.
• Deep experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD, unit testing, and containerized development workflows.
• Must be based in or able to work from the New York or San Francisco offices.

Nice to have

• Experience with audio/video web standards like Webcodecs, WebRTC, FFMPEG, MP4, and MKV.
• Familiarity with ML model deployment on NVIDIA hardware.
• Experience with serialization protocols like Avro, Parquet, and JSON-Schema.
