What you will do

• Develop and optimize market-making strategies using C++ and Python.
• Maintain and improve low-latency systems for order execution and market data.
• Collaborate with traders and quants to identify and implement new trading opportunities.
• Monitor 24/7 trading systems and perform algorithm performance analysis.
• Participate in system architecture design, code reviews, and risk management strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience in C++ on Linux.
• Strong expertise in low-latency trading algorithms, market making, or high-frequency arbitrage.
• Proven ability to develop clean, performant, and reliable code for distributed systems.
• Understanding of risk management in managing trading portfolios.
• Experience working directly with trading teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability and willingness to be on-call for system maintenance and support.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of network programming including UDP, TCP, TLS, and Websockets.
• Experience with C++ profiling tools like Valgrind or Cachegrind.
• Familiarity with inter-process messaging using shared memory.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure like AWS.
