What you will do

• Design and maintain backend services for crypto lending and borrowing products.
• Implement core lending logic including loan lifecycles, collateral valuation, and interest rate models.
• Develop reliable and scalable APIs for internal and external consumers.
• Integrate systems with blockchain networks, smart contracts, custodians, and pricing oracles.
• Collaborate with product, risk, and compliance teams to translate business requirements into robust systems.
• Monitor and improve system performance, security, and reliability in production.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Expertise in core Java, Spring, and Kafka.
• Proven experience in developing microservices architectures.
• Strong capabilities in code optimization and profiling.
• Location: Must be based in Hong Kong.

Nice to have

• Experience leading technical teams.
• Development experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) and Risk Systems.
• Knowledge of traditional financial products such as Options, Forwards, and Futures.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Deep understanding of crypto products and on-chain lending/borrowing.
