What you will do

• Own the Abacus platform architecture, managing the semantic layer, dimensional modeling, and release cadence.
• Lead the development of scalable, automated data ingestion pipelines for SAP, Dynamics 365, and other financial sources.
• Deliver and certify Power BI models that function as the single source of truth for global reporting.
• Implement automated data quality checks, performance monitoring, and incident management for high-availability analytics.
• Drive AI and ML integration, including pioneering natural language querying for data democratization.
• Partner with Global Business Systems and IT to ensure platform alignment with broader enterprise technology goals.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK is mandatory.
• Deep expertise in Databricks, SQL, and dimensional data modeling (Kimball methodology).
• Proven experience in Microsoft Power BI, including mastery of DAX and large-scale semantic models.
• 3-5+ years in a technical leadership or platform ownership role, ideally within corporate Finance or FP&A.
• Strong background in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, and CI/CD/DevOps practices.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills, capable of bridging technical engineering and business finance.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python or Scala.
• Experience with SAP BFC or Hyperion.
• Practical application of LLMs for Text-to-SQL or Text-to-DAX interfaces.
