Manager Of Financial Reporting (Fintech): Responsible for preparing and reviewing external filings, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and compliance in all financial disclosures with an accent on U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. Location: This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY, or Chicago, IL office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
Salary: $129,200 - $195,000 USD

What you will do
- Lead the preparation, review, and tie-out of SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy), XBRL exhibits, and subsidiary financial statements.
- Ensure the accuracy of complex financial reporting areas by reviewing monthly share-based compensation calculations (ASC 718) and quarterly statements of cash flows.
- Conduct technical accounting research and draft documentation to resolve disclosure matters.
- Liaison with external auditors to ensure the timely completion of audits/reviews, and partner cross-functionally with Legal, Investor Relations, FP&A, and Tax to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of financial disclosures
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior accounting staff while proactively supporting ad hoc financial reporting requests and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with active CPA or equivalent license
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in a financial reporting role in a public company or public accounting experience; Big 4 experience preferred
- Familiarity with and interpreting SEC Reg. S-X, S-K rules, and ASC 718
- Familiar with working with Workiva
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

- Experience working with Workiva Wdesk, Equity Edge and Oracle FCCS
