What you will do

• Independently manage editorial and automated newsletter products, ensuring editorial quality and strong audience performance.
• Write original copy for newsletters, including compelling display language optimized for audience engagement.
• Edit copy for fit, context, and style, ensuring error-free publication and consistency of editorial tone.
• Manage the operation and optimization of automated newsletters, including content pipelines and audience-segmentation strategies.
• Develop and execute subject-line testing strategies, including ongoing A/B testing.
• Use performance data and analytics to inform programming decisions, content mix, and personalization strategies.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
• Strong editorial judgment and experience in handling sensitive or complex material.
• Experience in editorial newsletter production, including familiarity with content-management systems and e-mail service providers.
• Strong understanding of audience segmentation, personalization, and engagement strategy.
• Comfort working with metrics and analytics dashboards.
• Willingness to work some early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
