Senior Institutional Sales Manager (Crypto): Building and managing the institutional client base across the EMEA region for a leading crypto exchange, with an accent on complex multi-product deal negotiation and relationship management. Focus on hunting new opportunities and guiding sophisticated financial institutions through the full sales cycle including spot, futures, and custody solutions.

Location: Must be based in Germany, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Spain, or Switzerland. Role requires up to 30% international travel across the EMEA region.

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle across EMEA, driving client acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute targeted outbound sales strategies to penetrate institutional markets.
  • Build and nurture high-level relationships with asset managers, hedge funds, banks, and corporates.
  • Manage the full range of institutional products including spot, futures, custody, and prime brokerage.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product teams to provide market intelligence and competitive positioning.
  • Represent the brand at key industry events and conferences to generate leads.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of institutional sales experience within a trading or crypto environment.
  • Fluency in English AND at least one of the following languages: German, Spanish, or French.
  • Must be based in the EMEA region.
  • Deep understanding of complex financial products including OTC, prime brokerage, and custody.
  • Established network of institutional relationships with asset allocators and banking institutions in EMEA.
  • Strong knowledge of regional cryptocurrency regulations and ability to navigate evolving landscapes.

Nice to have

  • Proven track record in crypto-native sales or highly sophisticated financial services.
  • Experience in managing API-based institutional integrations.
