What you will do

• Lead the architecture and development of high-throughput, low-latency identity and session management APIs.
• Orchestrate and configure identity provider integrations including Auth0 and Keycloak.
• Build and maintain cross-team platform SDKs and distributed event infrastructure using Rust and C#.
• Manage multi-account, multi-region infrastructure-as-code using Terraform at scale.
• Provide technical direction and leadership through design reviews, RFCs, and mentoring senior engineers.
• Define approaches for complex cross-functional platform challenges and system scalability.

Requirements

• English proficiency required for documentation and communication.
• Must be based in Brazil.
• Strong backend engineering background in a typed, compiled language (Rust, C#, Go, or Java).
• Extensive experience with AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, API Gateway).
• Deep understanding of identity concepts like OIDC, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SSO.
• Proven ability to design distributed systems and scalable API contracts consumed by multiple teams.
• Proficiency in managing multi-environment infrastructure with Terraform and GitLab CI/CD.

Nice to have

• Professional production experience with Rust.
• Experience with C# / .NET 8+ and Native AOT compilation.
• Hands-on experience with Auth0, Keycloak, or similar IDP platforms.
• Full-stack familiarity including TypeScript and Vue 3.
• Knowledge of security engineering concepts like threat modeling and zero-trust.
