TL;DR

Data Science Intern (AI): Supporting the R&D team in building and deploying predictive models with an accent on large dataset analysis and machine learning research. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: 3 days/week in-office)

What you will do

• Support the R&D team with daily analytical tasks, research initiatives, and model development.
• Build, validate, and deploy machine learning models using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Data Operations teams to deliver integrated data solutions.
• Explore datasets to identify trends and present actionable findings to stakeholders.
• Develop technical expertise through hands-on project work and mentorship from experienced data scientists.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Foundational knowledge of programming languages including SQL, Python, or R.
• Exposure to data manipulation, exploratory data analysis, and large language models.
• Strong analytical thinking and clear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to apply academic knowledge to real-world data challenges.

Nice to have

• Project experience via academic research, data competitions, or personal portfolios.
• Familiarity with tools such as PowerBI, Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, or AWS.
• Involvement in student organizations, hackathons, or leadership roles.
