Salary: $209,000-$313,000 annually (Zone A: CA, WA, NYC)

What you will do

• Work with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to assess new products and technologies.
• Review engineering and design specifications for privacy and legal compliance.
• Analyze legal and safety risks and regulatory requirements.
• Develop regulatory compliance strategies with legal and business colleagues.
• Help scale the legal organization by developing innovative processes.
• Conduct trainings for engineers and other teams.

Requirements

• J.D. from a nationally recognized law school.
• Active membership in at least one state bar.
• 6+ years of experience practicing law.
• Excellent legal and business judgment.
• Strong understanding of laws and experience across a range of legal disciplines (e.g., advertising, privacy, consumer protection, marketing, IP).

Nice to have

• Experience advising clients on domestic and global privacy issues, including GDPR, DSA, OSA and U.S. consumer protection and privacy laws.
• Experience counseling clients on ad tech and targeted advertising legal issues.
• Experience advising on legal issues around ecommerce and online payments processing.
