Senior Release Manager

TL;DR

Senior Release Manager (Project Management): Coordinating and managing release roadmaps, deployment activities, and change processes for technology platforms with an accent on release quality, stakeholder communication, and compliance with ITIL and Agile frameworks. Focus on planning multiple parallel releases, leading release decision meetings, and integrating DevOps practices to improve release orchestration efficiency.

Location: Hybrid from Warszawa with at least 2 days per week onsite

Salary: 800-1000 PLN/day on B2B contract

What you will do

• Coordinate, plan, and maintain release roadmaps for one or more applications
• Plan and coordinate release and deployment activities, including multiple parallel releases
• Lead release decision meetings and secure stakeholder approvals
• Plan go-live and post-go-live activities and handover sessions to operations teams
• Integrate new techniques, automation, and DevOps practices to improve release quality and efficiency
• Collaborate closely with central releasing and development teams

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or near Warszawa with hybrid work model
• Over 7 years of experience in IT project and release management
• Experience with ITIL framework, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and CI/CD practices
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly proficient English (spoken and written)
• Flexibility to work extra paid evenings and weekends for implementation events

Nice to have

• Experience with release orchestration tools such as Helix and Digital.ai
