What you will do
- Lead hirify.global’s government-facing advocacy in the United States.
- Evaluate US policy conversations and legislative developments, and work to understand the impact on hirify.global across its full product set.
- Develop US policy strategy that is aligned with hirify.global's international public policy efforts and global business priorities.
- Participate in and shape hirify.global’s engagement with trade associations, including building and crafting positioning and key initiatives.
- Develop talking points, policy narratives and presentation materials for use at external events and meetings and for other communication purposes.
- Work to build and maintain relationships with key US policy makers, and to find engagement opportunities with business, civil society entities, and other third party organisations.
Requirements
- BA with strong academic credentials required, JD or applicable graduate degree desirable.
- 12+ years of experience working closely with US federal regulators and officials, as well trade associations and industry groups.
- Deep understanding of US laws, regulations and policy developments important to hirify.global as well as associated rule making and legislative processes.
- Strong network of US regulators, officials, peers, and industry stakeholders.
- Strong communications (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to articulate complex policy issues to executive audiences.
- Must be based in Washington, DC.
Nice to have
- Experience drafting or substantively reviewing proposed legislative text, regulatory comments, and formal policy submissions.
- Management experience preferred.
- Team player, and a sense of humor.
