What you will do

• Design and build automated queries, scripts, and dashboards (SQL, BigQuery, Looker) for continuous control monitoring.
• Develop reusable code and automation frameworks to embed analytics into control testing.
• Perform deep-dive analytics for targeted reviews of specific risks to inform senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and recording control gaps with stakeholders.
• Partner across risk, audit, and business teams to foster a culture of proactive assurance.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK required (no visa sponsorship available).
• Experience in regulated financial services, professional services, or high-growth tech with a focus on risk and control assurance.
• Highly skilled in SQL.
• Proven ability to design and build data analytics solutions for control testing.
• Available to start within 1 month or less (fixed-term position until end of 2026).
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical insights to senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Looker and BigQuery.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and automating data pipelines into BigQuery.
