TL;DR

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
  • Work extensively with AWS and Databricks to process large datasets.
  • Monitor and optimize data workflows for improved performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain data quality, governance, and security standards across projects.
  • Contribute to internal process improvements and engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with AWS (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift).
  • Solid experience with Databricks and Spark-based data processing.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering best practices.
  • Experience building and maintaining complex ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • German language skills: Mandatory.
