What you will do
- Design and implement scalable backend services for financial payout and fraud prevention systems.
- Manage the full payout lifecycle, from payment execution to seller compliance and risk monitoring.
- Collaborate within an agile squad to own the entire product lifecycle from development to production monitoring.
- Modernize legacy monoliths into a service-oriented architecture.
- Facilitate technical discussions and improve system design for mission-critical areas.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to an engineering culture of sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- English: C1 level fluency is required for collaboration across international teams.
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong background in system design, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with performance optimization and data architecture.
- Experience with SQL databases, message brokers, and cloud infrastructure (GCP/Kubernetes).
- Ability to navigate technical ambiguity with a fullstack mindset and strong communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Golang or modern frontend frameworks like VueJS/Typescript.
- Knowledge of high-load systems and chaos mitigation techniques.
