Salary: $190k - $240k per year

What you will do

• Develop algorithms and models for sensing and navigation in autonomous vessels
• Create quantitative metrics to analyze performance improvements and regressions
• Analyze and manage large data systems to enable robust model training and evaluation
• Collaborate on building complex, low-latency inference and tracking pipelines
• Contribute to optimizing deployed ML systems for real-world deployment

Requirements

• U.S. Person status required (Citizen, Green Card holder, or protected asylee/refugee)
• Extensive programming experience with ability to work on large systems
• Solid understanding of operating systems, computer architecture, and programming fundamentals
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new information
• Must work on-site in San Diego, CA

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Rust
• Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Background in maritime or autonomous vehicle projects
• Knowledge of signals processing, sensor fusion, and path planning algorithms
• Experience with radar, cameras, and lidar sensor integration
