TL;DR
Network Engineer (HPC): Designing, deploying, and optimizing high-performance, low-latency network infrastructures for AI compute clusters with an accent on InfiniBand, RoCE, and high-speed Ethernet technologies. Focus on building scalable architectures, troubleshooting complex network performance issues, and collaborating with DevOps and research teams to support Mistral's AI production environments.
Location: Must be based in or able to work from Paris, France (Hybrid)

What you will do
- Design and optimize high-performance, low-latency network architectures for HPC clusters.
- Collaborate with DevOps, AI research, and storage teams to ensure seamless infrastructure integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance or connectivity issues.
- Monitor network capacity and security while implementing continuous improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for network configurations and operational procedures.
- Stay current with emerging HPC networking technologies to drive internal adoption.
Requirements
- Must be able to work from Paris (Hybrid role)
- Proficiency in HPC networking protocols including InfiniBand, RoCE, and TCP/IP.
- Hands-on experience with high-end network hardware from vendors like Mellanox, Cisco, or Arista.
- Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible and Python scripting.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and parallel computing environments.
- English proficiency required

- Professional proficiency in French.
