What you will do
- Architect and maintain robust data pipelines using tools like Glue, Databricks, Synapse, or Dataproc.
- Cleanse, normalize, and transform raw data to ensure quality and availability for strategic decision-making.
- Manage the full lifecycle of data solutions to ensure data remains fresh and impactful.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify data quality issues and insights.
- Monitor and optimize both relational and NoSQL database performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in cloud modernization.
- Proven expertise in data mining, storage, and ETL processes.
- Deep experience with PostgreSQL, DB2, and MongoDB.
- Proficiency in developing data pipelines using modern cloud-based tooling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
- Experience with Data Modeling and conceptual architecture.
- Relevant industry certifications (AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure Data Engineering).
