What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines handling billions of events daily.
• Build scalable ingestion frameworks leveraging Kafka, Flink, and cloud-native services.
• Define and implement data models across streaming and analytical layers to ensure semantic alignment.
• Establish observability, lineage, and data quality validations for critical data flows.
• Lead technical architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and promote high craftsmanship standards within the data team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or distributed systems roles.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming, and GCP data services.
• Strong command of Python/PySpark and SQL for complex data processing.
• Deep understanding of event-driven architectures, CDC, and real-time data modeling.
• Must be based in Brazil.

Nice to have

• Experience with event sourcing, CQRS, or feature store architectures.
• Knowledge of real-time machine learning serving or agentic data pipelines.
• Contributions to open-source streaming frameworks.
