What you will do

• Design and maintain core services, including APIs, customer-facing workspaces, and ingestion systems.
• Develop distributed systems to connect data, infrastructure, and AI-powered applications.
• Build robust systems to process and operationalize messy, evolving real-world data.
• Manage cloud-native infrastructure (GCP/AWS) and deployment pipelines.
• Improve developer productivity, system observability, and architectural simplicity.
• Collaborate with AI, Product, and Infrastructure teams to power customer-facing products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production software systems.
• Strong backend engineering proficiency with Go, Python, or Rust.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to take ownership of ambiguous problems and drive initiatives to production.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills for complex, data-intensive applications.
• Must be based in Brazil for this remote-first role.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming systems.
• Background in building systems that support machine learning or large-scale data infrastructure.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
