What you will do

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers to build and evolve high-traffic product areas.
• Own the performance and reliability of the document page, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Partner with product and design teams to define strategy, prioritize features, and resolve dependencies.
• Integrate AI capabilities into engineering and product development workflows.
• Use data insights to optimize user journeys and drive measurable impact.
• Guide architectural decisions while maintaining a strong engineering voice in product planning.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years of leadership or management.
• Strong background in backend or full-stack development.
• Experience working in product-led environments with focus on metrics.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Laravel, and Next.js or other SSR frameworks.
• Must be a resident in the Netherlands and able to commute to the Amsterdam office.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SEO practices.
• Experience working with distributed systems.
• Prior experience leveraging LLMs in product development.
