What you will do
- Refactor research scripts into modular, production-ready Python/C++ libraries with robust documentation and testing.
- Architect agentic workflows and MCP servers to connect LLMs with internal CFD solvers and databases.
- Develop APIs and automation loops linking engineering tools like OpenVSP, XFoil, and OpenFOAM.
- Manage and optimize Linux-based HPC clusters and cloud computing infrastructure.
- Design data architecture for high-dimensional aerodynamic results as a single source of truth for the flight physics team.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work on-site in Lausanne
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or Informatics with aerospace industry experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas) and C++.
- Experience developing LLM-integrated tools or agentic systems for engineering tasks.
- Familiarity with aerospace physics tools like OpenFOAM, ANSYS, or OpenVSP.
- Knowledge of Linux, Bash, and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience configuring physical solvers, turbulence models, and numerical schemes for CFD.
- Knowledge in implementing neural surrogate models to accelerate physical simulations.
