Senior Software Development Engineer, Loyalty - Fullstack (AI)

Salary: $199,000–$278,500 annual total cash range; up to $318,500 based on sustained performance.

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve client-facing experiences and full-stack services for global loyalty products.
• Own embeddable placements, including versioning, backward compatibility, and staged rollouts across varied host environments.
• Lead end-to-end system design across browser architecture, APIs, data models, and distributed services.
• Define technical contracts, ownership boundaries, integration points, service levels, and fallback behavior with partner teams.
• Deliver full-stack features through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support, with a front-end focus.
• Integrate AI and ML-enabled personalization, experimentation, and optimization capabilities while mentoring engineers and setting technical direction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of relevant professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience building and operating full-stack services, RESTful APIs, data models, and web applications.
• Experience owning features or services in multi-service or domain environments with responsibility for quality, reliability, and operational readiness.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language and its associated frameworks, including complex distributed systems design, review, and debugging.
• Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, workflows, and applying AI/ML concepts to real-world products.

Nice to have

• Experience with client-side SDKs, tags, or embeddable widgets used by other teams or external partners.
• Strong React and TypeScript expertise, including performance optimization for high-traffic consumer surfaces.
• Working proficiency with Java or Node in cloud-native environments.
• Experience with ad tech, user targeting, experimentation, and production AI/ML integrations.
• Experience using Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor for development, personalization, and automation.
