Location: Singapore, Tokyo, or Sydney with required regular travel throughout the Asia-Pacific region and occasional trips to the United States.

What you will do

• Build and sustain relationships with senior officials across Asia-Pacific ministries of defense/foreign affairs, intelligence, and cybersecurity.
• Represent hirify.global with senior officials, lawmakers, and multilateral bodies, including ASEAN-led mechanisms and regional security dialogues.
• Lead external engagement with regional think tanks, research institutions, and industry groups on AI, security, and resilience.
• Coordinate closely with the APAC regional team and align between Asia-Pacific efforts and broader national security strategy.
• Track and shape policy developments affecting AI in defense, intelligence, dual-use tech, and export controls.
• Advise internal teams on opportunities to strengthen regional resilience and scale beneficial uses of AI for democratic security and disaster response.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Asia-Pacific or Indo-Pacific security, including within relevant national ministries, regional security organizations, or related multilateral contexts.
• Established network of senior government officials, multilateral institutions, and/or civil society stakeholders in a national security or technology policy context across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Outstanding communication and diplomatic skills, with the ability to represent hirify.global externally and work effectively across cultures and political systems.
• Familiarity with emerging technology issues, particularly dual-use AI capabilities, including CBRN and cybersecurity.
• Strong strategic instincts and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice to have

• Prior industry and government relations experience.
• Regional language capability (English plus at least one major regional language).
