What you will do

  • Support the research and evaluation of machine learning models applied to malware and anomaly detection.
  • Collect, clean, and preprocess large-scale cybersecurity datasets.
  • Conduct experiments to test model performance and analyze results for iterative improvements.
  • Explore new ML approaches including agent-based model analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable ML pipelines for security data.
  • Document research findings and collaborate with security engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles like malware, vulnerabilities, and network security.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Python, C/C++, or Go.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct independent research and communicate findings clearly.

Nice to have

  • Interest in malware analysis, reverse engineering, or vulnerability research.
