What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of data engineers, analytics engineers, and ML engineers across three product areas.
• Drive execution for host insight platforms, competitive intelligence programs, and pricing/availability data systems.
• Partner with Product Management, Data Science, and Finance to define roadmaps and deliver high-impact data products.
• Review technical designs for complex pricing models and data acquisition systems.
• Stabilize the team through leadership transitions, fostering trust and execution clarity.
• Monitor data quality, pipeline reliability, and model health while escalating risks proactively.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in the tech industry with 3-5+ years in engineering management.
• Must be a resident of the United States in a state where hirify.global maintains a legal entity.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams building data products across multiple disciplines including data engineering, analytics, and ML.
• Experience developing user-facing analytics products like dashboards or performance reporting tools.
• Strong technical background in pricing, marketplace, or supply/demand data systems.
• Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment and communicate complex technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
