TL;DR

Engineering Manager (Fintech): Leading the Mortgage Verifications Team responsible for building new products, customer-facing experiences, and enhancing the Truework platform with an accent on high-impact and scalable projects. Focus on advancing architecture and systems to lead Truework and hirify.global into the next generation of product offerings.

Location: Must work from the office 3 days a week in Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, Nashville, TN, or Santiago, Chile. A relocation stipend may be available for those willing to relocate to a hirify.global hub location.

Salary: $233,000 - $274,000 USD (San Francisco, CA)

What you will do

  • Drive technical vision for the team.
  • Partner with product management to build new features.
  • Reduce technical debt and sustainably scale the architecture.
  • Build relationships with customers and drive results.
  • Nurture and grow team members based on their career aspirations.
  • Optimize engineering processes and policies to drive velocity and quality.

Requirements

  • 4+ years as an engineering manager and 8+ years as an engineer.
  • Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving.
  • Experience managing quality incidents.
  • Experience working on products at scale and understanding the data and technical nuances of supporting highly regulated products.
  • Strong experience with TDD, pair programming, and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to develop inclusive teams to foster growth and diversity.

Nice to have

  • Experience with machine learning and AI.
  • An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action.
