Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Based out of Mexico City, Mexico, full-time position with flexible schedule in the office in Roma Norte.

What you will do

• Design products for accountants, controllers, and finance teams to manage spend data, maintain financial accuracy, and ensure compliance.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI to transform workflows, balancing AI capabilities with accounting precision.
• Define how hirify.global connects with ERP systems, accounting software, and other platforms to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
• Conduct regular interviews with controllers, accountants, finance managers, and CFOs to understand pain points in their current workflows.
• Track adoption and impact metrics, analyze workflow data, and build business cases to quantify the ROI of product investments.
• Build a clear point of view on the market, customer needs, and how hirify.global should win in accounting automation.

Requirements

• Must fit ONE of these two profiles: Accountant/Controller with Product Experience OR Product Manager with Integration/Financial Systems Experience.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of how systems integrate and data flows between platforms.
• Hands-on comfort with AI tooling and strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP and/or IFRS).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong customer discovery skills.
• Based in Latin America, preferably Mexico, Colombia, or Brazil.
• Deep understanding of LatAm accounting practices, regulatory requirements, and business operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with expense management, AP automation, or spend management products.
• Background in management consulting with a focus on finance/accounting transformations.
• Experience working with global, multi-entity companies with complex accounting requirements.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements.
