What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain platform features and ecosystem tools.
• Contribute to critical open-source projects and engage with the developer community, specifically for SQLAlchemy and Tableau connectors.
• Utilize Java, Python, and Go to support integrations such as the Terraform Provider.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate customer requirements into cutting-edge capabilities.
• Solve complex challenges related to fault tolerance, high availability, and scalability.
• Ensure operational readiness of services and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of industry experience designing and supporting software in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Python is required.
• Experience with systems programming, including multi-threading and concurrency.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills within cloud environments.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go or JavaScript.
• Experience designing customer-facing distributed web services and APIs (REST, RPC).
• Knowledge of SQL or other database technologies and their internal design.
• Familiarity with public clouds such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
