Salary: $95,000–$115,000 CAD

What you will do

• Develop statistical models and simulation frameworks to evaluate game progression, rewards, and virtual economies.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, datasets, and infrastructure to support modeling and experimentation.
• Design and implement experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing, power analysis, and sequential testing.
• Partner with development teams to ensure reliable in-game data collection and robust instrumentation.
• Write production-quality code for data transformation, modeling, and simulation.
• Forecast the impact of design changes using predictive modeling and simulation techniques.

Requirements

• Expert-level SQL and strong Python programming skills.
• Experience owning data infrastructure end-to-end.
• Deep understanding of experimental design, causal inference, and Bayesian methods.
• Hands-on experience with power analysis, sequential testing, and multivariate design.
• Background in building economy models or simulations.
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
