What you will do

• Assist in managing the patent portfolio, supporting strategic decision-making, and participating in the Patent Committee.
• Lead invention mining workshops and training sessions with engineers to identify new patentable ideas.
• Oversee patent prosecution by reviewing drafts from outside counsel and ensuring alignment with company strategy.
• Develop and refine AI agents to draft high-quality patent applications.
• Identify and implement opportunities for AI and automation to enhance team productivity and data management.
• Coordinate foreign filing strategies with outside counsel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical field.
• JD degree and admission to at least one State Bar (for Attorney candidates) or USPTO Registration (for Patent Agent candidates).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution and drafting.
• Strong interest and experience in developing or tuning AI tools for legal operations.
• Proficiency with data management tools and a drive for process scalability.
• Ability to evangelize the IP program and develop relationships with inventors.
