What you will do
- Lead and develop the Sydney-based medical support team, setting clinical standards and fostering a high-performance environment.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex patient enquiries, providing clinical judgement to ensure safety and quality at scale.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to identify risks and implement systemic process improvements.
- Embed a patient-first approach into every decision, ensuring clear and empathetic communication across all patient touchpoints.
- Represent the company's clinical philosophy externally through industry events, content creation, and public speaking.
- Translate complex clinical concepts into relatable narratives for patients and the broader community.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical or patient-facing role, preferably in a fast-paced or telehealth setting.
- Proven experience in leading and managing clinical or healthcare teams, including performance management.
- Strong clinical judgement with the ability to handle high-risk case escalations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations empathetically.
- Comfortable with public speaking and acting as an external brand representative for clinical philosophy.

- Background in weight management, chronic disease, or pharmaceutical programs.
- Experience managing offshore or distributed clinical support teams.
- Previous experience as a media contributor or health communicator.
