Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 50 mile radius of our San Ramon office. For candidates who reside within 50 miles of our San Ramon location, this role is hybrid and would require 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in our San Ramon office.

Salary: $90,000 - $250,300 USD

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain public and private cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability, scalability, and developer productivity.
• Build and maintain internal developer environment tooling, primarily in Go and Python, to accelerate engineering workflows and reduce friction across the SDLC.
• Drive automation initiatives that improve availability, reduce toil, and increase operational efficiency across hirify.global’s cloud platform.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment, contributing technical depth to architecture and implementation decisions.
• Monitor production and development environments, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact customers.
• Contribute to incident response, SRE practices, and continuous improvement efforts to lower MTTD and MTTR.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Software Development Life Cycle experience, preferably in Agile/Scrum environments
• 5+ years of public cloud experience (GCP or AWS)
• 3+ years of systems and networking experience
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, GKE, and Docker; experience with ArgoCD and GitOps workflows is essential
• Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems
• Proficiency in Python and/or other scripting languages; experience with Go (Golang) is a strong plus
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform

Nice to have

• Experience with SIP telephony (Freeswitch, Asterisk, Kamailio, WebRTC) is a plus
