Finance & Strategy Manager (Fintech)

Location: Based in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY offices with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week

Salary: $136,000 - $160,000 USD (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC)

What you will do

• Synthesize and distill key financial business insights for leadership and communicate risks & opportunities.
• Partner closely with business partners to communicate performance vs. budgets and forecasts.
• Lead updating key financial slides and metrics weekly, monthly and quarterly.
• Ensure a high level of data fidelity to support forecasting.
• Improve and simplify processes, drive standardization, and build scalable solutions to support company’s growth.
• Develop product and business annual plans, financial forecasts, and ongoing analysis of variances.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of finance experience with progressively increasing levels of responsibility in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong project management skills and ability to execute collaboratively across complex environments.
• Ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written communications, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives.
• Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics, and the business judgment to balance the details while not losing sight of the big picture.
• Mastery of spreadsheets and presentation software, such as Google Sheets, Excel and PowerPoint.
