What you will do

• Define and drive AI enablement strategy and tooling standards across the engineering organization.
• Design, build, or adopt AI-powered developer tools to improve code quality and reduce review cycles.
• Lead org-wide adoption efforts including training, workshops, and documentation.
• Measure and analyze the impact of AI tooling on productivity and delivery speed.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and production environment scaling using AWS and Terraform.
• Participate in low-volume on-call rotation and provide infrastructure support.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States and work remotely within US geographic markets.
• 8–10+ years experience in SRE, DevOps, Cloud or Platform Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and AI/LLM-powered developer tool integrations.
• Proficiency in Go or Python and experience with AWS, Terraform, container orchestration (ECS/Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of observability practices including system metrics, distributed tracing, and SLOs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems in high-traffic production environments.
• Exposure to event streaming systems like Kafka or Kinesis.
• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms or self-service infrastructure workflows.
• Familiarity with systems security, compliance, and infrastructure hardening.
• Experience with agentic AI workflows, MCP frameworks, or AI-powered automation beyond code generation.
• Track record of leading incident response and post-incident review processes.
