What you will do
- Support external-facing web applications as part of a global production operations team.
- Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative solutions.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and platform teams to improve system reliability.
- Provide 24/7 support for applications running on AWS and Mulesoft APIs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot using observability tools like Splunk and create dashboards and alerts.
- Participate in on-call rotations and apply industry best practices.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in the United States to work remotely.
- 2–5 years experience in Tier 2 or Tier 3 IT support or SRE roles.
- Proficiency with observability tools such as Splunk, OpenTelemetry, and AppDynamics.
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Linux environments, and scripting (Python preferred).
- Experience with incident management, ITIL practices, and disaster recovery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Consulting experience and Agile methodology background.
- Certifications in ITIL, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Mulesoft, Postman, API testing, and Splunk SPL queries.
- Knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring and Real User Monitoring.
