Design Foundations & Operations Specialist (Product Design): Coordinate and operationalize design systems foundations including icons, tokens, component libraries, and workflows across multiple brands and platforms. Location: Must commute to Berlin office 3 times a week

What you will do

• Coordinate design-to-engineering handoffs and track progress to ensure implementation of design foundations.
• Run and evolve contribution workflows to enable product designers company-wide to adopt and contribute to the design system.
• Maintain and publish quality metrics such as component parity, adoption rates, and deviation tracking.
• Support visual foundations work through governance, review, and hands-on contributions.
• Partner with leadership to translate brand direction into systematic, reusable design guidance.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate design workflows and improve asset implementation.

Requirements

• Must be able to commute to Berlin office 3 times a week.
• 5+ years experience in product design organizations with strong design systems fluency.
• Experience coordinating delivery across teams and managing handoffs without formal authority.
• Proficiency with Figma, design tokens, component libraries, and front-end workflows like Storybook and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in design workflows.
• Strong visual judgment and ability to maintain quality and brand alignment.
