What you will do

• Own the visibility, management, and optimization strategy for cloud spend, transforming data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed FinOps principles and best practices, providing guidance and training.
• Develop, maintain, and report on cloud/SaaS consumption forecasts and budgets, addressing anomalies proactively.
• Act as the primary FinOps contact for engineering leadership and finance, liaising with vendor account management teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or Financial Analyst role focused on cloud expenditure (preferably AWS).
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts, particularly AWS services and pricing models.
• Exceptional analytical skills and proficient in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to details and accuracy.
• Experience working closely with external IT vendors.

Nice to have

• Substantial experience with AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, and other AWS cost management tools.
• AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner certification.
• Previous experience with large-scale AWS organizations.
