What you will do

• Lead advocacy and relationship-building efforts with elected officials across all 50 U.S. states.
• Manage internal teams, contract lobbyists, and external consultants to drive policy initiatives.
• Shape and influence state-level legislation impacting business objectives and product delivery.
• Strengthen state-level coalitions and drive grassroots initiatives to support policy goals.
• Collaborate with legal partners and business unit experts to identify and mitigate regulatory challenges.
• Represent the company in industry trade organizations and national conferences to build strategic support.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in state government, government affairs, advocacy, or public policy.
• Deep understanding of U.S. state capital legislative and regulatory processes and the political environment.
• Proven leadership capability in managing multi-faceted teams in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritize conflicting demands and quickly adapt strategies in response to legislative changes.
• Educational background including at least a Bachelor’s degree.
