What you will do
- Implement high-quality in-engine cinematics, cutscenes, and scripted sequences.
- Manage cinematic cameras, framing, blocking, and shot composition using engine tools.
- Integrate motion capture, keyframe, and facial animation into gameplay sequences.
- Coordinate gameplay triggers, dialogue, and animation states within the engine.
- Collaborate with rigging, audio, and VFX teams to refine cinematic pacing.
- Debug and optimize cinematic setups to ensure performance and memory targets are met.
Requirements
- Must be able to work on-site in Edinburgh, UK.
- Professional experience with Unreal Engine or Unity game engines.
- Proficiency in setting up character rigs, blueprints, and assets for cinematic use.
- Understanding of animation state machines and character controllers.
- Experience with camera systems, shot composition, and cinematic storytelling.
- Ability to troubleshoot animation timing, sequence playback, and transitions.
