What you will do
- Create and implement in-engine cinematics, cutscenes, and scripted sequences.
- Manage camera framing, blocking, and shot composition using sequencer tools.
- Integrate character, facial, and motion capture animation into cinematic sequences.
- Configure characters, props, and scene elements for cinematic control.
- Collaborate with animation, design, and audio teams to polish sequences.
- Debug and optimize cinematic setups to meet performance and memory budgets.
Requirements
- Must be able to work fully onsite in Liverpool, UK
- Proficiency in game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity
- Experience setting up characters, rigs, and assets for real-time cinematics
- Understanding of animation systems, state machines, and cinematic pacing
- Experience integrating motion capture and keyframe animation
- Ability to troubleshoot animation timing and camera transitions
