What you will do

• Manage Security Information and Event Management tools and processes
• Administer web application firewall and DDoS mitigation
• Conduct firewall audits and document remediation actions
• Oversee vulnerability and external port scanning processes
• Implement cloud hardening in collaboration with internal teams
• Perform security incident analysis, response, and remediation
• Develop security automation workflows and maintain technical documentation
• Use scripting in BASH and Python to support operations

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen physically located in the U.S.
• Must be based in Austin, TX; Eau Claire, WI; or Minneapolis, MN
• Minimum 1 year Linux command line experience
• Minimum 1 year knowledge of IT security principles and technologies
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or Golang
• Familiarity with AI-driven coding assistants like GitHub Copilot
