What you will do
- Line manage a team of 3–6 product designers, supporting their professional growth and career development.
- Lead design strategy for the Finance Experience group, aligning product goals with user experience outcomes.
- Oversee complex design initiatives across multiple workstreams to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to advocate for design and the user voice.
- Remain hands-on with design tasks when necessary to unblock the team and elevate craft quality.
- Drive continuous improvement of design operations, processes, and frameworks.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, mentoring designers.
- Proven track record in B2B SaaS product design.
- Ability to scale delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to defend and articulate design decisions.
- Must be based in London or able to relocate to the UK for an IRL-first hybrid setup (3 days/week in-office).
