What you will do

• Analyze automated alerts and manual referrals from transaction monitoring systems for complex interconnected cases.
• Perform due diligence research and KYC reviews on transaction activities to assess legitimacy and mitigate risks.
• Document investigative findings and draft narratives to support case investigations and regulatory filings.
• Act as a subject matter expert for compliance tools, conducting UAT and providing actionable feedback for process enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine compliance workflows, detection models, and procedures.
• Maintain detailed documentation to ensure consistency with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in crypto or the tech industry with a focus on TMS/EDD compliance investigations.
• Proven experience in crypto blockchain investigation or tracing.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills suitable for drafting SARs.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using generative AI tools and copilots with human-in-the-loop practices.
• Willingness to participate in in-person offsites held multiple times annually.

Nice to have

• Experience in project management, data analytics, or third-party vendor management.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, JIRA, or Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Professional certification in AML or Fraud (e.g., CAMS, CFCS, CFE).
