What you will do

• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats.
• Analyze vulnerabilities to enhance the company's security posture.
• Assist in responding to security incidents and performing triage.
• Help implement and manage security controls across systems and networks.
• Maintain proper documentation for security processes and incidents.
• Collaborate with international team members on security initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in Munich
• Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or equivalent field.
• Working experience with security event analysis on Windows and Mac.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, subnets, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with security principles like the CIA triad and least privilege.
• Basic experience with EDR/AV platforms.
• Proficiency in English required

Nice to have

• Experience with NIST CSF or ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Knowledge of Microsoft and AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with SIEM tools like MS Sentinel or Google SecOps.
• Basic log analysis and incident triage skills.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CySA+.
