What you will do

• Lead and mentor 2–3 cross-functional teams of 7–35 engineers, including Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Data Engineers.
• Partner with Product and Research teams to ensure high standards of AI product delivery, performance, and scalability.
• Manage the operational direction of AI systems and ML lifecycle processes from development through deployment and monitoring.
• Maintain the AI technology roadmap, balancing innovation with the management of technical debt.
• Own team staffing by identifying capability gaps and leading recruitment efforts.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and high-performance, autonomous delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of leadership experience managing software engineering or AI/ML teams.
• Deep understanding of the AI/ML product development lifecycle and data-driven systems.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong decision-making abilities to balance innovation with delivery goals.
