TL;DR

Director, Developer Relations (AI): Building and growing a technical community around cloud AI SaaS offerings with an accent on developer engagement, technical advocacy, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on defining developer relations strategy, producing high-impact technical content, and streamlining the developer onboarding experience to drive product adoption.

Location: Must be based in the US (hybrid, with remote consideration for those >30 miles from an office)

Salary: $165,000–$242,000

What you will do

  • Define and execute a comprehensive developer relations strategy to drive awareness and adoption among AI engineers and researchers.
  • Produce high-impact technical content, including tutorials, demos, reference architectures, and code samples.
  • Own and improve the developer onboarding experience, collaborating with product and engineering teams to reduce friction.
  • Build and engage the community through events, workshops, hackathons, and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Establish feedback loops to synthesize community insights for internal product roadmap development.
  • Track and report on developer program success metrics, including product adoption and engagement.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to export control regulations
  • 10+ years of professional experience in technical leadership or developer advocacy
  • Deep domain expertise in AI/ML platforms and tooling
  • Proven track record of building and scaling developer communities
  • Exceptional technical storytelling skills and ability to represent the company at industry events
  • Ability to travel for onboarding and quarterly team gatherings
