TL;DR

Postgres Marketing Manager (Postgres): Driving go-to-market motions and Postgres-specific narrative development for data management tooling with an accent on cross-functional alignment and market research. Focus on shaping product positioning, building sales enablement assets, and analyzing user insights to influence roadmap and adoption.

Location: Must be able to commute to the Cambridge office, typically on a weekly basis

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end GTM planning and execution for Postgres tooling.
  • Conduct market research and synthesize funnel insights to guide product and sales strategy.
  • Develop and refine Postgres-specific value propositions and unified messaging.
  • Create sales enablement materials, including battlecards and training collateral.
  • Collaborate across product, marketing, and sales teams to align on strategy and measurable outcomes.
  • Provide strategic input on roadmap, pricing, and packaging based on buyer needs and market shifts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product marketing or GTM roles within B2B technology.
  • Strong understanding of database technologies or developer tools.
  • Ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear, customer-focused value propositions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data and customer feedback for decision-making.
  • Must be able to travel to the Cambridge office safely in a day.

Nice to have

  • Experience with tools such as Seismic, Salesforce, 6sense, Crayon, or Marketo.
