TL;DR
Engineering Manager (Cloud Security): Lead and grow a team developing Falcon Cloud Security features for commercial and government clouds with an accent on cloud-scale challenges and cloud security posture management. Focus on managing engineering excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering resilient, high-impact cloud security solutions.
Location: Must be based in the United States and work onsite in New York office at least 3 days per week
Salary: $140,000–$215,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead and grow a talented engineering team responsible for Falcon Cloud Security features in commercial and government clouds.
- Drive technical excellence through mentoring, code reviews, and fostering continuous learning.
- Manage on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 reliability and operational excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, support, and engineering teams to deliver impactful features.
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex projects with a focus on quality and resilient architecture.
- Improve architecture, user experience, performance, and stability through rapid prototyping and fast decision-making.
Requirements
- Must be U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident and work solely from U.S. soil
- 7+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in management roles.
- Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Golang, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with Postgres, Kafka, Cassandra, and ElasticSearch.
- Strong background in distributed systems development and excellent communication skills.
Nice to have
- Industry experience or certification in CNAPP, CSPM, or Cloud Security.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or Azure Bicep.
