Engineering Manager, Cloud (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $140,000–$215,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and grow a talented engineering team responsible for Falcon Cloud Security features in commercial and government clouds.
• Drive technical excellence through mentoring, code reviews, and fostering continuous learning.
• Manage on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 reliability and operational excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, support, and engineering teams to deliver impactful features.
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex projects with a focus on quality and resilient architecture.
• Improve architecture, user experience, performance, and stability through rapid prototyping and fast decision-making.

Requirements

• Must be U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident and work solely from U.S. soil
• 7+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in management roles.
• Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with Postgres, Kafka, Cassandra, and ElasticSearch.
• Strong background in distributed systems development and excellent communication skills.

Nice to have

• Industry experience or certification in CNAPP, CSPM, or Cloud Security.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or Azure Bicep.
